    We shall see.

Yeah I hear ya. But that spot has always been a weak point. I’ll be lying if I didn’t admit I’m going to be nervous jumping with these. But fuck it. We’ll see. You can only die once.

Unless you’re a cat. They have 9 deaths or something like that I’ve heard.

But seems like a semi solid solution to the problem. Without going custom spindle this is the best I can think of.

I don't think it'll be an issue. No different that the uniball in a lot of UCAs or bolts there.

The biggest issue is it still uses the 4 small upside down bolts. Thats just as big of an issue. Even the Solo Fabed spindle doesn't solve that though.

So I finished the panels over the fuel cell. This is how I’m going to protect all the electrical and smog stuff from Colorado weather. Pretty happy how it came out.

The panels and cage are going to be black. I considered Steel It grey but I’m going with a bedliner for the panels. Nothing to fancy.

Got most of the tool boxes built. Still need to add locks. The driver is 5/8 smaller then the passenger because my cage is a little off but I can live with it. Kind of have too. The welding hood gives you an idea of the size. They are kind of small but I’m trying to use whatever space I have for storage. I’ll most likely put hand tools or recovery gear in these boxes.

Recovery gear on one side and a few of those roll up tool bags or whatever on the other. I would recommend a good 1/2” impact get stored somewhere on the truck with any big sockets you might ever need. In case you weren’t already planning on that

If I were making a fully caged truck I’d put one of these in it:

Hummm now to pitch the cost of a 1/2” impact to the wife.

cool idea. Smart to keep it from bouncing around.

That's what I've got - has only not had enough juevos for a Mercedes crank bolt. Not terribly expensive without batteries.

In the cab though right? Lol I can't see it being good being exposed to the elements like it seems like it is in some pics.
