I sold my factory Sport rims right away after I bought my '19. Regretting that I didn't keep them for winter... My TRD rims didn't see winter last year and only saw about 1000 KMs of shit roads this winter. However the chrome trim (fake bead lock) is peeling already!

I have the extended care warranty (not the wheel warranty though). Gonna see if the dealer will do anything for me.

Paint warranty is for 12 months. The dealer will most likely blame it on you but no harm in trying.
Toyota dealer in Cochrane, AB has those ring for 89bucks a piece.

    There's another way...

swapped my wheels since warm weather driving (that and Ardbeg is over a month away) and now seeing them...I need new summer rims... I can't even look at my OEM ones anymore since running the pro comps:annoyed:

    Thank you for the info,

I as well will be doing the FJ case swap to have many levers of coolness, and less switches of lameness.:cookiemonster:

Did mine on Saturday as well. I actually don't mind the stock OR wheels, but then again my winters make the truck look very grampish so stock is an upgrade!

Also did some prep work for my roof rack install and did 12" PPF on the roof...it looks REALLY bad..my edges wouldn't tuck in nicely so I had to cut it as close as possible but you cant see it from 10ft away.

Going from 33"coopers on matteblack procomps to 30" OEM OR setup is just an eyesore..

but anyways, post pics of the PPF. what did you end up getting?

I don't have any pictures of that embarrassment haha. It was just a 12"x48" rectangle of clear bra off amazon, overall it is good film just a poor install job. Might peel it off an retry :annoyed:

The Coopers aren't your everyday tires?

since Ardbeg is in a month for now, i figured to swap them over to the old tires to use em for when i know i'm doing nothing but road driving for a while.

Also figured this way i can either use the rubber until it's bald to give me a spare set of rims or sell them later on.

the good years are 3 years old at this point with maybe 15k on them so i might just daily them until i'm done with them. otherwise I dailied the Coopers since i got them in September.

What I do it have one set of tires and rims, use it every day, get my moneys worth out of 'em. But that's me.

    space is at a premium.

i like the Coopers, but they can be a bear driving uphill for 5km on my drive back from work every single day.
I'd rather 2 sets of tires than 2 cars.

I actually like the stock rims if they didn't come with silver

Just a heads up for anyone that has a winter tire discount through insurance - some companies have specified dates for winter tire use - they could tell you to jog on for any claims if you’ve switched too early. Guy I know is going through that now. It’s an unlikely situation, but it sure sounds like it sucks.
