As long as it doesn’t drop from the moment I hit buy in one app and sell in RH it should be a wash but then again I would probably be the lucky one who hits buy just as they pull the rug again and watch the other account crash and burn

 

I do miss instant deposit with RH.

Now I have to always have cash in my account to buy

 

how long does the fidelity deposit take to clear?

 

As soon as I transfer money into my Fidelity account, I can make purchases. I get a warning about a good faith violation if I sell the stock before it is paid for, but I can still buy it.

 

For a new customer or old.... It's the same, 3(to 5?) days

 

No Idea, I went to set a limit buy and I don't have cash in there now since my bank JUST linked up. gonna try to add cash now and see how long it takes to settle

 

Old. I already have an account since my employer runs their employee stock program through their I just don't use it for anything other than that. I don't even have a bank account linked yet. I just remembered that's why I went with RH when I invested the first stimulus was due to the difficulty Fidelity wanted make for linking an account and making an initial deposit vs. how quick and easy it was with RH

 

Fidelity has immediately made funds available after a mobile check deposit or an account transfer. For me, and I’ve only been with them for about 6 weeks

 

Fidelity is 3 days but you can trade as long as you don’t sell until it settles.

Trying to link a bank account again now and it wants a recent bank statement, voided check, or deposit slip and then takes 4-7 days to process so at a minimum it will be next week before I can trade with them after waiting for the deposit to hit once the link is done

it was annoying waiting, so I used cashiers checks from my bank to mobile deposit.
You can trade with that deposit immediately.

 

That's what I was just reading - I suppose I could write myself a check and deposit that through the app...I'm not sure I have checks though lol

 

Yup! well I initially opened my account in February. I just attempted the ACAT Transfer Monday last week. Attempted to link bank account 3/17 Wednesday night I believe, and it was completed on Saturday 3/20.
