Quick question for all you guys on here. Can you mount lights behind a full depth grille or would I need to go thin lip?

 

Thin lip is the way to go for that IMO but it really depends on which lights.

 

Mines thin lip and lights are tight. Only have 1/4" or so to spare. If you already own the lights get thin lip. My .02

 

I don’t have any lights yet but just planning for potential install down the road. Would love some amber lights behind the grille but damn the full depth looks so dope....torn

 

Honestly, get the grill you want then make lights fit or not, the grill is on all the time, lights not so much. Btw I've had more complements on my grill than any other stuff I've done. Craig's work is oem quality. If I had the cash I'd get another just to change up the look from time to time, maybe a ghost raptor.

Absolutely stuck deciding between the M1 thin lip and M1 full depth (both with triangles). Its for a 2010 SSM (1E7) Tacoma.

 

The M1 thin lip in 1E7 is probably my most popular combo ever.

 

If it helps you this is a picture of my 1e7 m1 thin lip.

 

Thanks for the update that the current batch is finalizing production. Really looking forward to getting this grill on my rig.

These two will ship out shortly, just wrapped up the assembly this evening.

It’s been a crazy ride since February. My wife got Covid & I was tending to her for a couple weeks (she’s good now). Immediately afterwards we had a big rain storm on top of nearly 2’ of snow that had fallen. The result was an overwhelmed sump pump that failed and flooded my basement with over 6” of water. The remediation and repair monopolized a couple weekends but now we have a brand new drainage system down there and got rid of about 15 years worth of shit we don’t need.

Happy that is all past us and we actually had a wonderful Easter weekend.

looks like I’ll be completing the wait list with a couple more batches.
