Hello my fellow Tacoma people! First time posting on here, although I've read a lot through this forums and it has been quite helpful so far.

I just got some 255 80 17 (10 ply) wildpeaks installed yesterday and I was curious what others running a similar setup have set their tire pressure at?

Thanks in advance for your feedback, cheers!

Chalk test is useless. Use a load inflation table provided by the tire manufacturer. Shoot them an email and they will give you what you need. For that tire size and load rating on a Tacoma, it will be around 36PSI to 40PSI.

    Here is Toyo's for reference:
How to apply the load inflation tables (toyotires.com)

35 psi. Be prepared for a very harsh ride at that psi with E tires.

if you don’t mind mushy handling and being unsafe, then run 20-25 psi for a much softer ride.

damn.... I'm running 45 front and 50 back unloaded. Add RV and I go to 55. E tires suck but so does a 6" lift pulling an RV with a Taco getting 5 MPG sometimes 9.
My tires are rated up to 80PSI. Never felt the need to check that out but in the 35 PSI range it was like riding on flat tires.

agree but.... I ran around for the first 10k miles at the dealership set 30-35 and the drive sucked. The are huge wheels and tires and I have been way more happy with higher PSI which is still 30 PSI below max.
