Do the tie rod heims in the kit have zerk fittings for lubrication ? Will they end up getting noisy ?

If you're asking those questions they aren't going to be for you.

Well that’s not a very fair statement to make . You don’t know me from Adam , I’ve read this entire thread , your a well respected person in this thread . And you’ve done amazing things to your truck . Don’t you feel like a actual answer to my question would be better for the tread than a just dismissing my question? I’m assuming they will be noisy as most heim joints are some have zerks , it was a simple question.

These ones don't, and they might if you don't keep them clean and lubricated

I have never lubed a uniball with anything other than the PTFE spray. I was under the impression that heims don't get lubed because of their material. You either rebuild or replace.

It's not dismissing a quick google search would net you the result and just looking at the pictures. Most heims DO NOT have zerks and are a sealed DRY joint of sorts. In fact the only heims I know of that are greasable are in industrial applications and are Yuge. Like I said if you are asking those questions with no effort in research they probably aren't for you.

So now after asking follow up question you don't need my input. Google is your friend.

Why should I google it when the people that have the answers are right here willing to help and share knowledge. Some of us are like minded and don’t mind sharing what they know , you have to remember that everyone has a different point of view . Like I said be for a simple answer would have been sufficient, and I got several for other people . I now know who I won’t ask in the future.

Well actually...a lot of crawler heims have zirks and a lot of race car heims and heim’d steering TRE’s have zirks which is what he may be familiar with.

My understanding is that the type we are accustomed to with teflon lining will take more impact abuse but as you know they go in the trash when they get sloppy but the greasable joints last longer because they are lubricated. Some of the crawler heims are even fully servicable / rebuildable.

Uh...I've seen bad advice given and will own up to the fact that I have given it as well. @ovrlndkull is right. Google has most of the answers. TW is a culmination of information produced by knowledgeable mechanics, inexperienced weekend warriors, trial/error, TSB's, and....Google
