I've had this kit on since December. I was getting a little over 2" in the front, it's settled to a little below 2" now. I recently did the ECGS swap, so I want to pull the coils and move the perch up to the second knotch. It's my understanding it's around 2.5-2.75" at that knotch?

My question is, I'll eventually put a bumper on, probably one of the hybrid slimline or something similar.
With the third perch, would the ride quality be really bad if I moved it all the way in anticipation of getting a bumper down the road (so I don't have to do it again).

    Thoughts?

I put a full SSO on and did the second notch. Super happy with the ride and lift. Probably 2.25-2.5 and there's no way I'd go 3rd notch. Second notch is where it's at imo.

Did you do ECGS to replace bearings also, or just shims? Got the same vibration at lower speeds since my lift and would love to see that go away.

I did the 2degree shims with 2nd setting up front and 2” AAL in rear with no vibes, good or bad

Thanks guys. I'll go with shims first then move on to needle bearing replacement after if bad vibes persist.

I believe if you put in 4wd and vibes go away it’s your needle bearing. Easy way of eliminating one of the two possible solutions

Thanks. I’ve seen others say this before. Just threw it in 4 hi on the way home while maintaining speed at 15 and 20 mph to test this out. Noticed a small reduction once, but it didn’t go away.

Agreed. Also on second notch with victory blitz bumper and winch. Drives great on factory UCAs.

Mine drives superbly on 2nd notch and no extra weight up front.

Have you had any trouble with your oem UCAs since doing your lift? I'm thinking about doing the exact set up

Does anyone have it on the second knotch with the 1/4" spacer?
    Any ride change?
I'm doing mine next weekend, changing from first to second perch. May as well do it all while it's pulled apart.

This may be a really dumb question, which I'll accept being called out for haha.

To change the perch height. Can I leave the coil assembled to the top hat and just compress the spring so the bottom lifts enough to change the snap ring and perch?
Or should I just pay a shop with a wall mounted compressor to do it?

69710C9E-AE79-4380-9C17-6AF54FFC780C.jpg Yes, 2nd notch and I have the 1/4” driver side spacer, and it leveled it perfectly.
I paid shop $20a shock yo swap over top hats.
