Do you finger your truck often? I only ask because you said it felt a tad tighter on one side after the trail ride, and I presume you would only know that this is new if it’s a routine fingering that you do. You know, so you have a point of reference.

Couldn’t it be that your truck wasn’t perfectly manufactured to begin with? I guess it depends on how significant this new snugness is on the one side as you say. Just trying to help you feel better until the OCD flare settles down.

yeah but its hard man. the pinstripes, the MUD, the underbody scratches, the "hmm did i do damage" playing on repeat in the back of my mind. Everyone else here in CA has a mall truck lol so grass always looks greener on the other side.

I feel your pain though, I did some very minor gelcoat damage to my boat a couple weekends ago and I’ve literally lost sleep over it, even knowing the boat will be totally fine and fixed in the offseason and that it’s stupid to let it get to me.

If it really bothers you then take it to a good shop and have it checked out, or to the dealer I guess. Just so you know either way and can relax about it. Consider potential warranty implications fully before you take it to a dealer and tell this story, just sayin...

Hopefully she rides good as new and you and your fingers can enjoy for many years to come.

In my opinion, if a vehicle drives straight(ish) and isn't leaking fluids, it's fine.
