RCI Off Road Spring 2021 Group Buy - CLOSED

Finally warm enough to paint the sliders, primer was done yesterday with a little sanding and touch up this morning. Putting on a light coat of flat black later today and another coat or two during the week. Hope to get them installed next Saturday.

 

Jealous, still waiting on my sliders to ship. Hopefully they get here before I have to start my travels for work.

They gotta be waiting on some sort of material or perhaps they're just swamped on production with the T-case skids. Probably the latter, but such are normal delays in the fab business. Patiently waiting on my Trans/T-case. I'm excited to have full skids.

 

I picked my stuff up last Tuesday and they told me they were getting 150 orders a day. That’s crazy! So guessing it’s just going to take a while to make everything.

 

Man I ordered skids on the first day of the group buy, but I haven't even gotten anything yet. No way to check status too. =(

I'm order #41180.. full skids, gas tank skid. And rear diff skid.

Yeah-- I'm waiting until I hit 7 weeks to message them. The lead time was estimated at 5-7 weeks for skids.

 

Just hit the 5 week mark waiting for my bumper. I'm sure it'll be quite a while longer lol

 

If anyone is curious, mine was 8 weeks for bare aluminum skids.

 

Made it 13 years without aftermarket skids... what's a few more trips before I get mine.

i had previously run the full rci steel skids for about 3 years and they served me very well, but times have changed and my truck is not used in the same manner anymore so...
gonna give the aluminum a shot now and see how it goes

 

Their aluminum skids hold up to some pretty decent bashing as well. Definitely the best aluminum skids on the market

 

Looks like I missed this sale. Does anyone know when the next one is coming?

 

In the past they have had Easter sales, but with that being so close to this group buy, who knows

I run their full aluminum with a TRD Pro engine skid. Definitely like the quality of the RCI aluminum and have thought about replacing the stock TRD Pro skid.
