I had this for about 3-4 years and it finally took a shit. I’d recommend a 12” slider if you can afford it. But for home use you’d be fine with it for a few years.

 

finally got my own pressure washer. so excited Peak #adulthood #dadlife

If you want a mitre saw , buy the Festool Kapex , go big or go home

 

Is my 12" sliding compound craftsman big?

 

no idea , in 35 years of carpentry I've never used 12" sliding compound mitre saw

 

So I'm going to take that to mean that my $300 saw has been out of your reach for 35 years!!!

I've actually helped mill logs on a 4' diameter blade , tractor PTO driven mill like that , my best friend's dad has one that has been in their family since the 1940's

 

I sure hope the lock out/tag out is on that thing
