Mine is a bit more than an ammo locker at the moment. Needed more handgun storage until I upgrade my main safe. I made a shelf out of some scrap baltic birch plywood and black walnut to hold the handgun racks. Eventually this will be entirely for ammo storage.

Who needs to go to a gym when you can lift 4 full cans of loose ammo. That storage solution is slick.

It's a bit heavy with all 4 full, but they are the 30cal size so not too bad. It is really nice to bring to the range though. Usually I am not shooting more than 4 different kinds in a single day so I just switch around the 4 cans that I need and then carry a single tray.

I have that same container system, I think 8 total sets for various calibers, overflow, and some tool/parts storage. Although my identification systems is just painter's tape and sharpie scribble lol.

If you go the route of MTM ammo cans, you can fit 12 trays in the Rigid 48" job box. That's 48 30cal ammo cans! :spending:

Stopped at Cabela's today and they had about 12 of the 556 150rnd boxes left. I didn't need them but a few guys at work were asking me if I wanted to sell any. I don't sell my reloaded rounds but now if they really want some, here you go! $95.00 total with tax. Geesh..
Oh, I was after primers, he said a pallet came in yesterday and they were gone already. 20210322_133401.jpg

Picked up a p365 on Saturday. Got the tac pack with 3 12 rounders and a cheap holster. Until this the smallest gun I own was a Glock 19 so stoaked to finally have a good little carry gun.

    9FDD08E2-886A-422A-8B58-B265764C601C.jpg

After a few too many beers last night also ordered a flat trigger kit, flush fit 10 round magazine, and a vedder pocket holster for it.

anybody have any IWB hybrid holster recommendations for someone that carries at 4 o’clock and tends to run hot? Was looking at the alien gear cloak but appreciate any opinions/recommendations.

Holsters...especially IWB are really a personal choice. This little Galco has served me very well as my backup. It is small and comfortable and highly concealable. Are their prettier holsters...absolutely, but again I don’t plan on anyone ever seeing this unless it’s in my safe. Good luck...Stay Safe

Check out the gunfighters inc. wraith. Simple, clean kydex design and no leather if you're worried about staying cool. Great retention but still easy on/off.

LAG tactical has similar ones also.

Ordered a Primary Arms SLx 1-8x FFP ACSS Raptor about 5 minutes ago.

Side note: I had to call them to get the "mrgunsngear" code to work. Worth the few minutes on the phone, it made the mount free.

I feel ya there. I’ve had a carry permit since I turned 21 but could count on one hand how many times I’ve actually carried.

Then last week my buddy had some nut job shoot at his dog at the park (luckily they were both uninjured). But it made me realize it’d be nice to have the option when I want to carry.
