A little something every chance we get.
Had a beautiful Spring day with some SA folk (and Fredericksburg, and Devine, and El Paso) yesterday; great beer, good food truck, and about a dozen of us playing with our masks!

Good morning everyone. Sub freezing this morning again (25F) and heading into the 60s. Yesterday was gorgeous and today looks to be about the same. Time to pull out the field mower and start knocking down some brush. Maybe I'll wash the truck, too!!

I hope those who got their shots are feeling OK today!

    Be safe!

    Good morning all,

Woke to a foot of new snow, and still snowing. I was supposed to be in the Springs today for a meeting - back to Zoom - AHHHH. I was really looking forward to meeting up with some friends and having an adult conversation in person - (distanced of course).

More snow predicted for the next three days - keep the moisture coming, I will figure out where to pile it up - good excuse to buy a font end loader this week...

Have a great day - be safe

Good Morning Everyone. My "eight-hour leg day" is catching up to me. Made good progress on the RSI Shell, but what a pain in the butt, thigh, and calf. You think at after 60 when I read "shipped flat, some assembly required" I would have known better.

Good thing I do intense workouts in a boxing gym, I really need to hold my tongue and pummel the heavy bag. I did beat up my hands, still have some more clips and work to finish it up then have all the kids show up so we can lift and put it on the truck.

Anyone using CAT Scales? One close to me. I would like to fill 'er up and get weighed. Repeat after the shell is on. I suspect the manufacturing weights are a bit optimistic.

I decided it was time to take down the old swing set that my father in law built decades ago. It took a minor hit when the tree fell but it had been showing signs of wood rot for a long time. I also got out the DR Field Mower - another thing my father-in-;aw bought maybe 15 years ago. Sprayed a little starter fluid in the air intake and she fired right up after a few cranks. I spent a few hours clearing brush today and will spend a lot of hours walking behind it in the coming weeks.

Col: Looks like you need a few E-1's and E-2's with some white paint and brushes this summer. LOL Getting rid of old worn out wood structures is always a good thing.

On another positive note, I ordered a Weber EX6 today. Free assembly and free delivery from Costello's ACE hardware in Edgewater, MD. Should be delivered late next week.

Glad I only have one paintable out building! And it was new last year!

Well, by avoiding cutting, I used up all my pavers! Get some more tomorrow and some patch grass. Probably finish it up Thursday. Path to the wife's planting table was going to be dirt, so.....

    Evening all:

:( Figured I would drop Ken a "how you doin", looks like I can't even use the start a conversation that we were active on to reach him.
Anyways, hope he's keeping up with the posts and awaiting him to return.

I was thinking you might have an outside way to contact him, but then figured if you did you would let us know a status.

Oh well Boats, guess we wait it out together.

Good morning all!! Ken, I hope you are able to read this and know we miss you!! Looking forward to having you back on the porch!

I made the bold move of pulling the plow blade off the ATV - but still have the UTV set up just in case. These last few days have been gorgeous and I'm getting spoiled. We head back into the 40s and low 50s this weekend but it sure has been nice to feel the warmth of the 60s again.

    Be safe out there everyone!
