Should fit the ‘20+ SC Tallboy. Add some lingo to the ad, might attract some fish.
I so want one. Just haven’t been able to swallow that $1k+ price tag.
Try trunion 165x45. Talk about limited aftermarket options...

@backcountryj i got a little discount on it. The guys at evil said the ohlins shock worked really well too for the offering. I just decided to go with the push. I only have about an hour on it right now so too early to really say anything but I did mention to Bannerman that it basically erased a lot of the small bump and square edge hits that I was used to feeling with the dpx2.

@jjones.yota you should probably go ahead and pull the trigger on one.

@backcountryj to answer your previous question ... after this past weekend , more than likely - the grip and small bump sensitivity is as @Bannerman phrased it "like having cheat codes on dh sections"

I would say if you get a chance to try one out then do it. The guys at evil I guess try out a bunch of different shocks but don't really endorse any except what is specd with the bike and for the offering they guy I talked to said the Ohlins and Push are both really good, they had not tried out the CC Kitsuma. Its definitely a bit heavier and you can kind of feel it, but in the climb/trail mode it seems pretty efficient. Your also welcome to try it out on my bike at the trip and if I still have the Dpx2 we can swap them out.

I for sure get the analogy. Loved the CC inline I put on my Tallboy. It’s just a huge price gap between Push and any other coil option. Having only experienced CC, I just know half the money of Push still gains pretty fantastic performance. Some say the Push is worth the price. I dunno...

I’m on a Following. The shock is 165x45 so swapping isn’t really optional, but thanks for the offer. I haven’t researched too deeply or called around, but I think Push is my only coil option for that micro size.

This is my thoughts as well. Is the Push better than the CC? Probably. Is it 2X+ better? Not a chance.

@eidsondesign got a deal on his I think though and he has a sugar mama.

I've saw Push Shocks go for $600 used, I guess you send it off and get setup for new bike and everything may save some money, but IDK what Push charges.

The great thing about the Push is it's a buy once and carry with you to any other bike you get.

Kinda sorta. To rebuild/reconfigure the Push shock to fit another bike is $200-400+. A new coil and shock from CC would be in the $500ish range. Gonna take several rebuilds at the lower end of that 200-400 range to offset the initial $1k buy in on the Push to be cheaper than a new CC for each new bike.

    Edit
Let me step back. I understand cheaper isn’t necessarily the goal. And possibly finding a used Push coil at a reasonable price that fits someone’s given frame could easily change the scenario.

The CC is $699 without coil, the Push is $1200 with coil and valved for you and your bike.
I'd say the difference in price is around $400 or less depending on what spring Push uses and if you were to get the CC revalved.

What spring does Push use? I want to make it an apples to apples comparison where only difference is the shock body.

Edit: looks like Push's Hyperco Coil is $95. So about a $400 difference not counting revalve.

Interesting. Last I’d looked the CC inclines were in the $400ish range, plus another $100ish for the coil.

Oh sorry, I was looking at the Kitsuma thinking it's more fair to compare to the Push.
The other CC is $499 + Coil

Still higher than recall on the inline, but yea the top shelf CC is likely a better comparison. I was looking at it more of the inline and the push are both non-resi coils (at least I think the Elevensix is :notsure:).

I've looked at them a few times, the Push is really fancy. It is reservoir though.

I think for a trail bike, the CC inline is the way to go, it's less than 250g heavier than the DPX2 I think. I've ridden mine pretty hard in Pisgah and never had heat be a problem. I'm an average ride and average weight.

yeah I got a decent discount on the push, it was still 1k after tax and shipping but what I was comparing it to was the Ohlins which was gonna run 800ish. Alot of the shocks you buy online do not include the cost of the spring which is included in the push price unless you buy a second one. Still not cheap, is it worth 2x more than another brand, I would say that you cant triple stamp a double stamp! and Sometimes you have to drive a Lambo to realize you only need a yota.

You can reconfigure them somewhat and push will do that but it can vary quite a bit in price depending on what your changing.

Am I happy I got it ...100 percent - Its like 5 trips out on @Bannerman new boat - (probably closer to 10-20- I'm guessing those new 4 strokes are pretty efficient ?)

and the wife went on a vacation with friends ... So I got a coil that cost the same, she just doesn't know she paid for it.
