Just Mined some Ravencoin, that definitely seemed to run my GPU hotter than mining Ethereum with the same fan curve. Are there any low price/inconspicuous coins y'all recommend mining now for BTC type growth?

 

Honestly, mining might be dead soon. ETH may change over to a different algorithm that doesn't favor GPUs, and most of the coins worth mining use ETH blockchain as a backbone. If it happens, most miners of convenience like me will pack up shop for a bit.

Just started a Coinbase acct. bought some link and some xlm. New to crypto but trying to learn. Seems like algo might be a good one to buy as well. I’m just investing I don’t plan on using any of my coins. Anything I should know or useful tips would be greatly appreciated.

 

I keep coming back for more ALGO mainly because of the 6% APY on Coinbase. It’s hard to beat.

 

VET, XLM, XRP, HBAR, ALGO, just to name a few. Be careful while using coinbase, heavy fees when buying, and hidden fees for staking. (coinbase pro is a little bit better).

 

Anyone have STORJ?

Yea the fees suck, but everyone is going to have them and they don't make them easy to find. I will add don't buy any coins on exchanges that won't let you withdraw your money to your own wallet, I.e. Robinhood..
Voyager, Gemini, coinbase, coinbase(pro) all let you transfer to your own wallet.

 

you will have fees anywhere, they will go down over time as you trade more $$ during an amount of time. I use binance.us, they have fees as well, but are not as bad as coinbase, and there is more diversity of altcoins. from what I've found online, there are no staking fees on binance.us.

Was there some news I missed that lead to the slaughter? The only news I see is Fidelity is launching a BTC ETF. That should be good news. lol
