Ok Victory has a 30-45 day lead time which is better and I do like their stuff. I imagine shipping is insane.
LFD I like also but they only list V6 skids, nothing is listed for a GX 470.

NVM just saw Victory has free shipping!

I want to like Victory but I don’t like how they have the access cover. I know from my Tacoma I smashed into a lot of rocks in that area.

idk...I haven't had time to take mine by their shop yet. I'll probably get victory4x4 in aluminum at some point.

More places should get on the KDSS train for those of us with it.

Funny how they say there isn’t a market for it but a lot of the enthusiasts that spend a lot of money have KDSS and it’s not like it costs a lot of money to design skid plates.

I see that now. It doesn't bother me to have to remove the skid plate to change the oil. I wonder if you can special request one to be solid.

Especially when ARB makes one skid that works on the 470, 460 and 4Runner with it.

I'm pretty sure I need to lower seat foam. It feels flat and not cushy.

So many websites don't show certain things under their GX products but will work. Just realized RCI has a skid package that's $50 cheaper than buying them individually. Had to look under 4Runner and then it says it fits GX. Even with paying shipping with RCI and free shipping from Victory, the price is pretty much the same. I do like the RCI better now that @w.adventures pointed out the vulnerable plate at the front.

most anything that fits 4th gen V8 T4R should fit the GX (non-KDSS at least)...

Fwiw I run the kdss RCI front ifs skid and like it a lot. I’m non-kdss but the extra arm room to reach in an undo the filter is fantastic lol.

I’m installing these in a week or so. Want my caster back.

So if no one convinces me otherwise, I'll be ordering the RCI package in the next few days.

I looked at those, but ultimately I think I'm going to go with either Dobinsons because 555 ball joint or Apache Offroad

Both have rubber bushings instead of poly (maintenance and squeak free) and an easily swappable ball joint.
