What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

Ive had my CHL for about 12-13 years now and used to carry religiously. Ever since the pandemic and working from home I dont have a routine of grabbing my gun every morning any more and got pretty lazy about it. With all the crap going on i starting trying to be more mindful of making sure im packed before I leave the house but still forget sometimes.

Its part of the reason why I swapped from a lightweight commander 1911 to a micro like my P938 and now Hellcat, want to make it less of a chore to carry.

 

yeah he was letting the dog run around at about 10:30pm. He heard the shot and saw the muzzle flash about 20 yards away. Called his dog back over, checked him for holes, and then leashed him up and boogied back to the street and checked the dog and himself out again under the street lights.

At this point in the story I thought maybe the dog stumbled upon a homeless camp and they were trying to scare him off but then this is where it got real sketch. After he finished checking the dog he turned around and a clean cut dude in a hoody was standing there about 10 yards away visibly shaken.

Hoody: “I’m sorry”
My buddy: “did you shoot at my dog!?!?”
Hoody: “I’m sorry”
My buddy: “answer the question! Did you shoot at my dog!?!?”
Hoody: “yes I’m sorry I was trying to scare you”

then my buddy walks away and the guy starts walking in the same direction following him for a few blocks. Other sketch part is he’s seen this dude around his neighborhood countless times when walking his dog.

exactly why I went micro 9. Trying to make it as easy to carry as possible so I’m more inclined to do so. Looked at the hellcat, g43x, and shield plus as well but the sig just fit my hand so damn well.

my buddy was more on the fence between the hellcat and shield plus so he decided to sleep on it. Already did his CCW class and submitted his application though (don’t blame him after the night he had)

 

This is very troubling to say the least.....

 

Does the X have the grip length of the XL and the slide length of the standard p365? (Plus the red dot, obviously)
