    Powdercoater brought this extruded aluminum and ask me to cut it in 6” lengths. He’s going to paint it and send it to salt spray for testing.

    Man I really want to get a mill going in my garage. I miss working on my own projects. Hitting go and waiting around for 8 hours a day at work is not my idea of machining...

    A coworker of mine did it and said its the best thing he's ever done. If it means not needing to drop 300 on glasses every 2-4 years and not having to clean them constantly it might be worth it. I swear, I clean mine and not 5 minutes later I've somehow managed to get something on them again.
