Which Fog Lights do You Guys prefer?

Which Foglights do you guys prefer?

DD SS3 Sports
Or
BD Squadron Sports

I might make the switch to DD since I have some Baja right now but I want your guys input on them

 

I have some DD SS3 Pros they’re awesome.

 

There’s a whole thread with scientific data in it but just do yourself a favor and get the Diode dynamics. If you really want the best, get the max.

 

I also have DD SS3 Pro and I can confirm they are awesome.

How are they with headlights on?

 

the fogs shine further than the headlights. my headlights are not OEM

I've been shopping around for the best easy to install fog lamps upgrade for my Taco. I have been eyeing the Baja Designs Squadron SAE Amber LED kit. I is a little pricey, but looks like the limited lifetime warranty attracts my attention. Currently deciding what to get so I can do this

 

the reason why they are so expensive is because they are "SAE Approved". I'm pretty sure the Squadron Pro is cheaper, better, and can be used on the street too

 

I have these and really like them but the DD ones are just as good if not better so you can’t go wrong with either I’m my opinion.

 

Pro, lol.


SAE were a misstep, DD are best if you want to run them with lows as fogs..
Or get Sports and Pro and run them offroad!

 

How would one evaluates Fog light options under REAL WORLD FOG conditions?
I live where winter snows and spring and autumn fog is a given. (fog expected tomorrow morning in fact)

The fog lights on several Audi vehicles I have and have had, have been SUPERB! This Toy ota... not so much.

Looking to fix that. May by just transplant the fogs from the allroad.... ?

Best: Diode Dynamics SS3 Max
Great: Diode Dynamics SS3

Worst: Baja Designs

Read the reviews of each. Diode Dynamics excels in the SAE space and Baja does not compete.
