Actually heading to fort fisher friday to fish. Got a bunch of plans for short trips throughout the year. Then my big trip in october. 8 days in corova.

When need to get together and plan a trip.

Not sure if I can make it before the end of May. I am going Memorial Day weekend, got a spot at Frisco Campground. Everything booked up pretty quick. Then I got a house in Avon booked for the week of Labor Day.

 

Cool, will try to make it down that weekend. At least for a day

I need to take my kiddos to the beach. Lived here all my life and never been to the OBX. I was sheltered as a child. We never went on vacations.

On a side note. My local walmart had the Ozark 26L roto coolers marked down from $90 to $45. Picked one up this afternoon.

We were talking about those coolers and that sale in the Food Smokers thread recently. Good deal for a pretty good cooler.

 

Yep picked one up to serve as my bait cooler for the surf fishing i do. Ive got other Grizzly coolers but dont want them smelling like fish. For $45 it seemed like a pretty damn good buy.
