Hey guys who makes the best quality window visors lately? Always liked WeaterTech but at $115 for in channel applications they are at least double as to what else is out there.

I noticed that the AVS do not go down the front of the side window like others. Am I correct?

AVS here also. They don’t come completely down but I haven’t had any problems with rain coming in when they’re cracked an inch or so. 9C85816C-1C8A-4CE6-A14A-A96BC18CF9F3.jpg

AVS ftw. I will occasionally drive with the windows down in the rain and won't even see a spec of water inside the cab

I have the Weathertechs, mostly because I already had their bug deflector and I wanted to stay homogeneous. They did cost a little more than AVS. They're fine, look good, work great, but can't imagine they're in any way superior to the AVS. They do go all the way down to the window frame in the front.

I have Weathertechs primarily because I've used them on other vehicles and have had good outcomes.

I've had my AVS on my truck for over five years now, still look like the day I put them on. At this rate, 10 years looks like a real possibility. Best part, I didn't pay an arm and a leg, I could afford another pair with the money saved in 10 yrs.

Good luck, and as always, choose wisely

My biggest concern is whether or not they will scrape the glass and mess up the tint.
    The in channel ones.

I have the AVS low profile in channel ones and tinted windows and have had zero issues with scratching the tint or window.

I have in channel tinted windows, no issues to report, no regrets in over five years...And the clock is ticking...

Well considering the tint film would be on the inside of the glass and the part that would “scrape” the vent would be the outside of the glass. I don’t see that as being an issue. But if you properly install them and clean the inside of the channel with the alcohol swab (most people skip this step which I don’t recommend skipping) then there wouldn’t be the scraping you are referring to
