    the good ones
Been scouring for 2012-2015 4x4 access cabs for a few months now and this one popped up across town yesterday so I jumped on it. Clean Carfax and I even called the Toyota dealer where it was serviced and they confirmed everything.

Weirdly enough someone traded it for a Kia

What did you pay for it might I ask? That thing is purity at its finest begging to be modded.

Oh, you are attaching it to a brand new fender and then putting it on? I match them up directly on the truck to make sure they will line up with the A-Pillar. From the picture, the holes don't look that far off because when you tighten down the nuts in the back, it will suck the snorkel to the fender.

I paid $26.8k + sales tax and doc fee from a dealer and felt pretty good about it.

Don't worry its mod call will be answered

No, I wanted to drill the holes, have the fender painted, install the fender then install the snorkel.
If I tighten the nuts (if I can even get them started) for the snorkel it doesn't line up with the top of the fender (as shown in many pictures). It looks to be tilted to the front so badly that I doubt it's even close to the A-pillar. You can see how off it is when you compare the air intake to the large hole in the fender.

Agreed. I usually follow the little indenture that the antenna fits in, then slowly tilt the snorkel so that it's angle.matches the A-Pillar, mark where a hole will be closet to the front and closest to the back, then put the template on to match it. It does look like, with that angle, you will have about 3 inches of room between the snorkel and A-Pillar.....sorry man. I did offer to help install it before you started...:help:

seriously, for those that frequent this place, I believe what you scored is the ideal platform. So easy to mod, everything you need and nothing you don’t...I scored the identical deal little less than 2 yrs ago: ‘13 SR5 AC 4.0 4X4. My previous was a TRD sport, and I prefer this. 30 years beating up trucks I’ve never needed a locker or a trans rebuild, so I’m good.

    congrats!

@tortoise_taco adding: mine came with a color keyed tonneau and OR wheels, sportin' the grandtrek's with 28k on them. Dear God, those tires are shite. For your own safety, make that your first task.
