We'll see (both literally and figuratively) . At only $14-15, probably a cheap mod compared to others.

Mounted my hi-lift jack to my Diamondback cover today. I used Mike's (the "Last Line of Defense" guy) method, installing longer bolts through the tie down cleats. I used 3 M8 x 80mm bolts, and it feels REALLY strong. I also used large knobs to secure it in place, where his version used wingnuts. I was worried about how far the setup would stick out from the truck, but it doesn't even stick out further than the fender flare or the wheel/tire. I also have some home made brackets that allow me to mount a shovel to the hi-lift. Side note - I only intend to keep this on the rig during off-road trips. It will be removed and stored in the garage while in daily driver mode.

Ah, but I have the Delete in Reverse (DIR) mod that @Puppypunter & @daveeasa peddle on here. Turns tag lights off in reverse. Quick and easy install.

Didn't do anything to my truck since I'm out of town, but ordered a Tcase skid and a full size spare tire.1 month from today and I'll be in Moab

My boss and her husband just picked up an R32 GTR. They had an R32 for years prior, sold it a few months ago to get the GTR. Not sure their plans, but their old one was putting out 800HP at the rear wheels. They are such cool cars.

It does look good but I'm sure if Tacoma's came from factory without the black vinyl between the windows someone most likely would have come up with the idea to sell a "black out" kit...same goes for the nice chrome handles inside...someone would sell the chrome option :D. All I'm saying is that we are funny that way:)!

yea i heard people complaining about LED on the license plate bulbs were too bright. I just used these old PIAA LED bulbs i had for about 10 years and seem to be perfect. I wasnt going for brighter i was looking for it to match the OEM bedlights and they do.

I have had this system installed for 2 years now. It has greatly improved my towing and carrying capacity as well as lifting the rear nearly 6" at the ball hitch. The truck is more stable as well when towing my camper loaded for a week of R and R.

You are right. The oem tires are 3/16" thinner tread than the duratrac and 1/8" thinner than most other SL A/T tires. I'm sure they use these because they get a great discount on bulk orders for a relatively inexpensive AT tire, but they also weigh a lot less(32 lbs) compared to a Duratrac SL(44 lbs) or LT(53 lbs), so they will produce better fuel efficiency results.
