Sorry to hear that, that's no fun. Attic?

 

More of a crawl space than an attic. I've been up there before and basically it's like crawling thru a really tight kids jungle gym.

 

When I was in Hawaii, the downtown buildings in Honolulu actually wrap the palm trunks with metal near the top so rats can't climb to the roofs.

 

We have mice and/or a few rats up in our attic, every time I go up in there I see evidence of them...but we never hear them or anything so I've just figured its one or two coming and going. IDK it's a really old house so I figure it comes with the territory lol. Just have to be careful how we store things in the attic lest they become a chew toy for mice

 

Yeah, these fuckers woke me up this morning, chewing on the rafters or something.

 

Damn that sucks. I hear they can work their way into the walls too which would be real bad.

 

The worst was when we had a possum or trash panda crawl under the house and die, reeked for days/weeks.

 

you didn't send the cats in to eat it?

We have spoiled chonky indoor cats, they wouldn't last 5 seconds outside
