SOLVED (80%) Installed full kit w upgraded camera on my 2018 trd sport w JBL package. On switch I Press rear shows black screen - press front shows rear camera. 2 yellow lights will come on switch but blue camera doesn't light up. Anybody know what I did wrong or have any clues how to fix? Put red video wire to green and followed diagram on site. Grounds are metal to metal frame. Used add a fuse under hood w a 10amp. Any help much appreciated.

UPDATE : Thanks to you guys I checked RCAs and 2 were backwards, after I swapped had correct input from both sides. Don't know why front camera had black screen if that was issue but it good now. Lil blue camera on switch still doesn't light up like it should tho so any suggestions on that?

I would double check the rca connections. Also did you cut any of the loops on the camera side? I needed to cut 2 of the 3. Way down in the instructions it says to cut them after the camera is functional. Standard camera or premium?

I haven't cut any camera wires bc I wanted to see what "premium" looked like on screen first. There was male and female RCA ends on both sets that connected together then the one with black stripe so surely I didn't get that messed up.

what happens when you press rear?

both yellow lights on when you press front is correct, that’s how it works with this setup unfortunately. When you press rear, only rear yellow light lights up.

When I press rear or put in reverse shows black screen. When I press front it shows rear camera. The 2 yellow lights on switch come on but the center blue camera does not

sounds like the rear camera is connected to the wrong video port and the front isn’t wired up properly

I don’t remember which wires those were, I have to see if I can find the wire schematic, check and make sure all the solder joints are good on the switch to start out if you can.

It’s the blue and grey wires I believe. I seem to remember those only being used on the 2020+ but I believe the blue is power and the Grey is a variable dimming ground.
