I just got my 2021 trd pro and had to wait over 5 months here in New Jersey and the price was $ over $49000.00. And to top it off they don't give the incentives on the pro model , at least in New Jersey . On top of that this State charges a luxury Tax on vehicles over $45000.00

Last weekend I drove from San Diego to Phoenix to pickup a TRD OR 4x4 6MT! 39K MSRP and the selling price I paid was 37.7K. I bought mine from Camelback toyota the day after it arrived. I'd recommend looking out of state. $200 for a hotel room and gas, plus a fun road trip is a lot nicer than the bs mark ups dealers are trying to pull.

Last weekend, I made the 1.5 hour trip to Harrisburg, Pa. to pick up my TRD Sport Double Cab in Voodoo Blue at Faulkner Toyota. The MSRP was $39,872 (see breakdown below) and the two dealers closest to me in the Lehigh Valley weren't willing to deal on price. Only one had the color I wanted. I got down to the $37,800 which included the $1000 rebate. (The dealer beat my credit union financing rate and got it to 1.99%)

In a really unscientific search of most of the dealers in Pennsylvania (in a five-hour radius), I only saw four in that color (one was a manual and the other was the off-road package -- neither of which I was interested in).

The local dealers said Tacomas had been selling and they wouldn't do much on price. The one dealer, whose truck wasn't coming in until the end of the month or early April, offered me $500 off even after I showed them the other better offers I had from a dealer in Pittsburgh and where I bought it in Harrisburg. It was the smaller of two local dealers. I never go to numbers with the larger dealer, Koch33, but they basically said they wouldn't do much. (I drive by every day and they've definitely been selling).

Hello from a new member in Southern California! :)

I've just finished reading this thread starting at page 70. Lots of good info.

I'm ready to purchase a Super White '21 TRD Sport 2WD DCSB A/T (1st Choice) or a '21 SR5 V6 2WD DCSB A/T (2nd Choice). It seems like deals are a little tougher here in Cali recently. I'd appreciate any leads if a fellow member has one.

Of course I'll do my homework as well....TrueCar/Costco/AAA/Internet.

    TIA

Sport access cab manual, MGM, tech package, premium package and LED headlights. MSRP of $39,600, negotiated to $36,800 or about 7% off. After trade in it was $23,900 OTD. Good enough that I don't feel ripped off and worth it to be driving a truck and Tacoma again.

I still have a rental house in North Hills, at Balboa and Nordhoff. The whole block wall came down then, but luckily the rest stayed intact. Glad I wasn’t still living there at the time. I sometimes miss the time I lived there and at other times am glad that I now reside elsewhere.

Am I getting a good deal here? So cal dealers DO NOT want to below msrp, two dealerships wanted over 39k otd for an sr5 v6
Neither Longo or puente hills want to go below msrp
I’ve tried about 80% of the dealerships around SoCal

Look back through the last four months of this thread. That will help you familiarize yourself with the current market. Essentially in California you’re not going to find a good deal. Either go pick one up in another state or have it shipped to you. You can use this template to determine if you’re getting a good deal.
    6% off =average good deal
    8%=good
    10%=very good
    12%=excellent

2wd DCSB sr5 are dime a dozen around here. It is Toyotas regional bread and butter. No one should be paying 4wd prices for 2wd trucks.

We're in the same neck of the woods and sadly, that is a below average deal at ~4.4% off (including rebates already).

Are there a bunch of options / packages on that? That pricing seems crazy. I mean, I've seen a lot of 4x4 SR5 mark up, but the 2WD SR5s seem to be at or under 30k from what I've seen on Gargurus / Dealer sites etc.

Edit: I realized I was thinking about I4 models. Your pricing doesn't seem that far off for a RWD V6 SR5. You could probably find a better price nearby in NV / AZ though.

That said, you could probably find an SR 4x4 for that price you were quoted.

WB stands for wheelbase. Since there are many cab/bed configurations, the wheelbase number can be pretty different from one combination to another.
