I dodged a bullet, must be my lucky day. I misspelled flange in previous post, but this is what the equipment looks like. They decided to remove the flange and weld a new one on.20210324_113300.jpg

It’s a little wet today. Came down good last night but no bad storms. Tapered off this morning but has been off and on the past couple of hours. Supposed to get round 2 tomorrow into Friday.

Had first workman's comp claim last year; tested positive for Covid (at work), was sent home for 10 days @66% pay.
Oddly, if you walk in the door at work and tell them you were around someone that tested positive, you get 14 days off @100% pay. o_O

I broke a bead on a tire to attempt a flat repair. Tire was hot from underinflation and being driven on. When the back tire bead broke loose from the wheel, Fix-a-flat sprayed everywhere. I wash my hands, arms, face off, but it's burning like hell.

To make matters worse, I go to the urgent care to get my hands and forearms bandaged. They applied an anti-burn cream (SSD creme for the med savvy folk), and I'm allergic to the main ingredient. THEY DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT MY MEDICAL HISTORY!!!
