I ran a small vacuum cleaner. I live in an apartment so I found it useful to be able to stay in the parking lot and not have to go to a car wash.

Has anybody ever used the outlet to charge an RV battery through the RV’s shore power cord.

Used mine to power a laptop, to train some Soldiers on our AT4 and RPG trainers (MILES) at Ft. Benning a little while ago. Worked like a charm for a bit. Exhaust started to get to them after a while. Ooops.

I run my small treager scout off mine all the time. Did the 400W anytime mod and have warmed up leftover pizza while doing 70 down the road and smoke rolling out of the bed hahaha.

I've used mine for an angle grinder and heat gun. Works pretty well. Definitely have to take it easy when using the grinder but it got through 2" fire brick pretty easily.

 I think this is exactly why Toyota set it to only do 100watts while driving from the factory.

very interesting though, I have a large Treager at home and have been wondering if the smaller one was feasible to run off the plug in the bed. My understanding is the only time a Treager will pull a significant amount of power is during the “smoke” setting, once the pellets get going and it’s moved from “smoke” to a higher temperature then the heating element turns off and only the auger and misc electronics are operating.

Thanks for clarifying that. I didn’t know what a Treager Grill was, but research said it was a wood pellet grill. I thought people were just messing with me.

Treagers are like a crockpot. You basically set your temperature and come back to delicious smokey food. It's not something a smoker purist would think of using but treagers are really convenient, I run mine overnight all the time. I'll throw three 10 pound pork shoulders on at like 7pm the day before and 23 hours later it's ready for dinner :hungry: You basically just need to make sure you have enough pellets in the hopper and that the firepot is not full of ash.

I’ve run a dewalt charger, a work light, a small heater, an air mattress inflator, a dewalt fan, and a small speaker. Not all at once.

Holy thread revive. I was able to rip about 8 pieces of 1x4 boards with my old Dewalt table saw. It didn’t want to do it. Had to go super slow but no other power around soooo

I had to turn the truck on and push that button to make it 400W for my kettle to work
