Just installed emblem overlays ordered from Taco Garage in San Diego. Simple, easy and looks good. Fit perfect though you need to be careful peeling off the double sided tape otherwise it rips in a tight corner and it’s a pain to get off again. That’s user error and not on the part of the vendor. The A doesn’t have a cutout like it shows on the website but it does in the O. I’ve seen others where it’s one solid piece so I liked that little detail with this set.

Ahhh I see.. did you just have him match the tint on the back windows then? I've never gotten tint before so I'm not too sure how to go about it or if I even want to bother but I'm assuming I just take it in and ask for it to be matched.

All true. But I think the OP was just commenting on the fact that there is less read to begin with. And it does make for a lighter tire which will improve the efficiency rating of the vehicle.

Yes you could do that. And that would be less expensive to just tint the front two windows. I had the back tinted darker and then the front matched. Some states don’t allow you to tint the front door windows. When I lived in Illinois can’t tell you how many times I had to peel the tint off or pay a fine.

Yeah, go for it! I think the set was a little under $30. Much cheaper than OEM from Toyota, but that does come with the whole set including the letters. FYI this set was just both sides and the V6 emblem. It does not have the 4x4 overlay, but that wasn't needed on my OR.

Where did you get yours and for what price? Most listings seem to be around $350 to $400.

Just a suggestion. This is how I installed mine. The ramps provide enough space to lay the skid plate on your belly and slide under the truck with it. Loosely fasten the 2x bolts at the rear, then 2x in the front and then 2x in the middle. Tighten everything up after that.
