You made me open the safe! Don't have the red dot on her right now as the irons are awesome!

Don't laugh at the new bbq gloves, needed something I could find easy!

I'm being lazy here, but are NFA wait times horrendous again? Just bought a Rex Silentium 45 can. Not my first suppressor but it's been awhile.

Mine were anywhere from 152-172 days after the stamp was cashed to pickup.

I wouldn't even call. The ATF doesn't give a fuck and probably fields untold amount of those calls. Just forget about it until they call and say you can pick it up

Thanks that's what i figured i bought in 2/20 it took over 4 months for them to get back to me to even start the paperwork because of the Corona scare. Just bad timing on my part it might be ready to pick up i just hate going in that gun store because they took so long to get back to me after i bought it.

If your stamp has been cashed then the gun store won’t contact you until the ATF approves it and gets the actual “stamp” back to them. Then they call you and you pick it up, so day one off actually waiting for your can started the day they cashed it. My cans took anywhere from 151-172 days so far, doesn’t always mean that’s how fast or how long it’ll take but gives you a rough idea. Best thing to do is try to forget about it for a few months.

also you can call the ATF but they’ll just tell you what you already know, the stamp has been cashed and the back ground check and approval are pending.

Also not sure if you did a trust or just filed individual but I’d recommend silencershop in the future. They make it painless and buying through them is a breeze also customer service is great.

I went through the same ordeal, but ended up being 9 months before my check was ever cashed. I had to resubmit everything just as if I had purchased it again in 9-20 instead of 1-20. You can call the NFA during normal business hours the phone number is (304)-616-4500. You will need the serial number for your NFA item, the name of the gun store you purchased from and they may also ask you questions about it being for an individual, or a trust, and the name of that entity as well. I called twice and the agents that I spoke with were very nice and understanding. They will tell you everything that you need to know. If it has been approved over a month ago, I’d be knocking on my gun stores door asking questions. The second time that I called, it had been approved two weeks prior. Two weeks later the gun store called me.

Was just told that for paper form 1, they are running behind their 60 day goal for turn around and are currently working on forms received in december.
