Hey Randy, what's your setup to run a fridge when the truck is off? I've been looking into one for an upcoming 2 month road trip, but can't decide between 2nd battery, solar, Jackery unit, etc etc

I have a 27f x2power battery from batteries+ and a 100w renogy solar panel up top. Just the one big battery with solar to keep it topped off. I have the fridge wired straight to the battery with 10 gauge wiring.

Just to be clear, you only have one battery for everything? I was looking at the same battery as well (with the alternator voltage booster), but running a flex solar panel on the ikamper shell to always top it off during the day. Any recommendations on solar panels/MPPT controllers?

Correct, only one battery. And I have the lesser expensive renogy 100w kit. They offer multiple kits with different controllers but to be honest I didn’t do much research into since I don’t need peak performance. At most I’m out for a couple of days and the truck is driving every day anyways.

Cool, cool. I've run spacers before without fear. Had them on one of my cars that did frequent track days and saw triple digits. As long as they're a respectable brand.....

for sure. Definitely don’t get crappy spacers. That’s a recipe for disaster

Spidertrax are always being sold here or you can check on their site for scratch and dent sets on the cheap.

I hesitated and missed out on a scratch and dent set when I bought mine. Not salty at all. :anonymous:
Its fine, the scratch and dent were black and these are blue anodized which matches my theme anyways (even though you can't really see them anyways, but I know they're there and that's what matters right?)

I would have loved to have seen the toob dawrz or the mustang in the background. Other than that it looks a solid 4 outta 10.

I am! Did we settle for a color yet? I would like to suggest “cheap strap orange” as an option. Black lettering would look great on it

Part's 1 & 2 are released in accutunes 5 part series of bypass shocks education. I just read through what's available and it's very well written. If you've ever been curious about external bypasses, give this a read.

Just placed a parts order from your neck if the woods. McGeorge was the cheapest I could find. Locally they would have been almost $700...

Now to make my wife drive it (she works like 2 min from the house, I drive 45 min to work) until the parts come. The brakes are grinding BAD!!!

My parts tote didn’t survive last trip as the Jack stand punched a hole in the side. Ordered some Rubbermaid actionpackers to replace it. It’s more rugged and weatherproof so I plan on locking it and leaving it in the bed the whole time. I have two more on the way that’ll juuuuust fit between this and the tailgate.

Did you check Rock Auto? I did a quick check and a PowerStop (good brand) drum and shoe kit is $135.
