Timeframe was for paper filing. E-file takes less time. Quicker to copy-paste than to read-type.

My neighbor is an ATF Agent and told me they are now months behind, up to 10 months for the tax stamp. Not sure if he was only talking about the paper form or e-file.

    Why no eForm?

I sent 3 off last summer. First one took 23 days, sent 2 in the next time, they took 17 days.

Because I couldn't get eforms to work when I was ready to file. So, I decided just to do it with paper.

First one I did was kicking my ass. It would let me get almost to the end of it, then one section where I had to pick an option was grayed out.

Was getting pretty pissed, then thought to myself...:self" maybe your damn VPN is the problem. Not sure if it was or not, but when I shut it down I was able to fill out the form.

I filed an eform form 1 on a trust and took 30 days to the day because of Christmas and New Years. Unless you know otherwise I'm gonna go with what Reddit and the rest of the world agrees on.

    What's you're definition of 'normal' on e-file form 1's?

I got to fondle my Resonator K yesterday, I’ve been working at the gun shop that I’m doing the transfer through for a few days and finally had time to find it yesterday on lunch. It’s gonna be epic cutting 2.5”+ off of my Optimus on my SBR.

Can't wait to see it mounted! Do you guys have a range there too? My BIL's LGS has an indoor range so he's allowed to shoot his can whenever he wants while he's there

First class 3 weapon I bought was a 22 silencer on a form 4 back around 2012. It took 4 months. A few months later I decided to SBR a couple AR lowers on a paper form 1. Those 2 took 5 months.

A couple years later I hear the wait times were between 12 to 14 months on form 1 and 4's.

Last spring someone told me about the eForms and the crazy fast approval times. I thought what the hell, and SBR one of my 10/22's that one took 23 days. Just because the wait times were so crazy fast I bought a CZ Scorpion S2 to SBR, and a QuietBore 9mm silencer kit. Both those stamps took 17 days total. All my shit is done as an individual too.
