How do I adjust the passenger side headlight on a 2021 Tacoma? The driver side was obvious to spot but I can’t find the bolt that adjust the passenger side.

***And I found it immediately after posting. I guess I should’ve looked a little longer. Damn bolt was hiding behind washer fluid reservoir

Maybe a stupid question, but why would one NEED to adjust headlights on a brand new vehicle?

Pro Tip: Use phillips screwdriver down from top instead of trying to reach screw on back.

I doubt it, but if so, I don’t know why you wouldn’t take it to the dealer.

You doubt a headlight could be misaligned? Take it to a dealer to adjust a headlight? Lol.

Yes, I really do doubt it. I mean, if it’s essentially brand-new, yes. Tacomas (and Toyotas at large) are synonymous with quality, right? If I had that new of a vehicle and something that unusual was off, I absolutely would take it in to see if something else is amiss. That’s how unusual I would think something like that would be. Plus, warranty...

I got a 2 inch level kit and ever since the install I’ve been getting flashed by oncoming traffic that I’m blinding. Just trying to do the right thing and readjust the aim of the headlights. It was super simple to do.

By and large I agree with your sentiment. My issue is time. I don't have the time or energy to waste over a headlight alignment. Besides, OP may have lifted his truck or something requiring adjustment.

Fair point. All Toyota dealer services are a hassle. Your choices are either sit and watch whatever bland inoffensive TV program they have on while drinking colon blow 2000 stale coffee or jumping on the “courtesy shuttle” for an hour to go somewhere else inconvenient, like work. I’d avoid for the first few free services too at my expense, but it’s probably a smart idea to take advantage if only to support a claim if you had a freak problem later on so you don’t get denied due to “not following recommended service intervals” or something like that.

Adjust headlights =/= avoiding service intervals. Also, dealership has never touched my truck, except to put new pad silencers in my leaf springs.
