    Welcome to TW! :hattip::wave:

    Pioneer or Alpine for the head unit, and JBL for the speakers; I’ve got a JBL GTO component system in my truck that I got on Amazon for less than $90 back in 2018...

    if you are open to a single din, with apple control, blue tooth and usb etc... this is a great option. It has made my factory speakers sound fantastic. There is however not any bass to them so I won't pretend there is.

    But with the built in amp it can handle most door speaker upgrades you'd be looking to add as well. If you are doing a sub, you'd want an amp for that for sure.

    I bought a Sony XAV-1000 and I absolutely love it. $300 and has Apple Car Play and bluetooth and all of that. For speaker is used Rockford Fosgate R1525X2 in the front and Kicker 46CSC654 in the rear. Paired that with a 12inch Rockford Fosgate sub and 500watt Alpine amp with soundproofing the whole cab and my system bumps and not a single rattle.

    Total without sub or soundproofing was about $500
    With sub was about $800
    With everything $1000 all said and done

    Totally worth it imo

    Yeah I didn’t think a double din fit the car right. I understand there’s a lot of advantages and can look great. I just wanted the “retro” vibe. I have no experience with car stereo and I installed it pretty easily. I have some info on my build thread.

    OP.....suggest for you to visit Crutchfield.com.

    They have a search engine that will sift out the selections to fit your ride. Head Units, speakers, install gear.......

    They have phone/online support if you need to talk to someone.

    You can go as top end or as bargain as you wish.

    That’s how I found mine, and stuff for other vehicles. Their consultants can put together packages that will work and include all extra wiring you need. Really make it simple over there
