mass definitely don't have castle law. i know florida does just from my murder shows

 

Look up Texas castle laws

And Mass DOES have a Castle Doctrine. Just clear as mud

 

at least the burden of proof is on the state.

I was going to reference Texas, but I decided not to. My son used to talk about the different states and what he thought each enabled him to do. Just one of the things he would say to his sister who is on the other side of things. Always interesting dinner conversations.

And there was that pretty publicized case where the dude claimed self defense/ castle law but it was pretty questionable and caused much outrage.

 

My bad I thought mass didn’t. I can’t keep up with their millions of rules

I was looking through vintage articles, it was faster around VIR than the WRX, Evo IX MR, S2000 CR and IS-F.

I’m actually surprised they haven’t depreciated as far as I’d have thought. The sedans seem to be in the $7,000-8,000 range.

 

Feel your pain. I NEED to keep my Mass and Texas laws in check. And I am still navigating mass laws.

Texas has pretty crystal clear Castle Doctrine, and Self defense laws.

That is true. The THEORY is you cannot be the aggressor, and you cannot be committing a crime yourself. The other party must also be committing a crime, BUT... that is where it gets fuzzy....
In Texas, even robbery is clearly listed in doctrine.
In Massachusetts... well....

Let's just say if someone gets past Stacey, I'm going operate under the assumption that no one in the house is safe...
