Install had some annoying parts like fitting loom clips and reinstalling the kick plate but it's not too bad. If I remember right, the only thing you really need is a t30 torx bit for the tailgate screws and a basic socket set. Other than that just take your time and follow the directions, maybe watch a youtube video if ya like. Also, my creeper board came in real handy when running the wires under the truck.

Cleanest way I can think of is a thin strip of metal or wood dropped into the lower channel that the glass slides in. Maybe a dab of silicone as well to prevent it rattling.

 

I think your 21 should be a little easier to install when it comes to connecting the wires. This video covers the basics.

I got mine a couple weeks ago from North Hills Toyota for $354.25+tax. They matched BAM Wholesale's online price and had it in stock the next day. You might even be able to find it a little cheaper if you do some searching.

Stuck one of these on the truck... I went for the one in the lower photo but chose the transparent dark grey version. it's a subtle decal and I will probably be the only one that notices added 3hp though.

mine is a 2019 but I went ahead and bought the wire harness adapter so that way the opener won’t work when the power to the vehicle is off.

I just contacted my local dealer (Brewer Airport Toyota) via email and asked them if they would price match the online price I found from another dealer of $340 +tax. He immediately came back and said not a problem and thanked me for giving him a chance to match the price. The total including tax is $363.80.

 

Moving to the mainland this summer... that way I can stop going around, and around, and around in circles on the Island.

FYI, while I had my scale out the other day I felt compelled to weigh my bed mat. It came in a hair under 30 pounds for the 5ft bed mat. Heavy enough that I leave mine rolled up in the corner of the garage until I actually need to put anything in the bed. Only takes 2 minutes to untie and 'install'.

Installed the anytime front and back camera. Overall, not too bad. Now I have to figure out which wire to cut to flip the mirroring!
