World has changed, but the people still in charge are our parents and grandparents age. Quite frustrating, actually having to listen to policy decisions made by people who's greatest technological achievement when they were my age was the refrigerator. People who think an iPhone is witchcraft and can't figure out how to un-mute their mic on a zoom call.

I actually made my kid learn how refrigeration works..I'm a chemist so I explained the chemistry of it and then they physics of it (kid LOVES physics)...and did the equation for the ratio of cold created on pressure relief vs heat generated on pressurization...spoiler...it's a LOT of heat to a little cold...

lol good on ya, that's awesome.

The fridge I have burns out a compressor motor every few years. Costs me a $50 part and an hour with an articulating ratchet to replace it.

Fridge came with the house when I bought it in '05. I'm not giving it up until it explodes.

Easy to work on appliances, especially with Youtube if people would just take the time to think about it.

My brother's degree is in Naval Systems Engineering from the Merchant Marine Academy. He's an insufferable math nerd lmao. He's got more in GME than I do though.

I always say I was born 40 years too late (‘90) and would have loved to have been around in the sixties. I’ve never quite fit in with my peers and get along better with older people lol.

    am i understanding this right?
for 10 shares you get 1 warrant that's worth 2.75...which means share price will basically head to that equilibrium level?

edit...so stock is at 1.69...warrants are worth 2.75...but you're essentially getting a free stock at 10:1 ratio...if the price is above 2.75...you make profits on current share price - 2.75 for each 10 stocks you've got.

My 2 second research and smooth brain equates it to a 2.75 call with a 2023 expiry. Smarter folks can put it in terms of bananas and rockets.

I either win or it doesn't matter. Seems fair enough.

Or I end up in some weird parallel universe where jesus (or muhammed or ganeesha) is T-bagging me while I'm tortured for all eternity lol

The actual logistics of the warrant are immaterial. However basically for every 10 shares you have you received an option to buy one share at $2.75 on or before that expiration date. Right now that equates to a way out of the money option that would just be a loss and most likely never exercised. The company knows this but the number one way to combat naked shorting is to issue a warrant for a dividend share. It really cost the company no money. They know that if this thing goes to $10 from a short squeeze the only person buying is the short to cover. Everyone else is selling to take the free money. If the squeeze were to last long enough after selling your shares you could then sell your warrants or exercise them and sell those shares for 10% more return of the squeeze. The simple fact of the matter is the person who is short millions of shares must buy back the shares because they will owe warrants/dividend on the shares that they have naked shorted but won’t be able to provide them. It’s a beautiful way to punish shorts. It’s what $OSTK did in March of 2020 to battle naked shots and their stock went from $5 to $121 in 30 days as the shorts scrambled together up shares.
