    The cutting head cuts clutches for outboard engines. The machine the head its mounted to now just sets the blade height. It set them to +/- .0002.

    We use this type of head for making gears,pinions and clutches. With using this type of carbide head you don't need coolant when cutting the part. The older gear cutting machines that use coolant can make 1500 gears. On the new machines that don't use coolant we can get 500-1000 parts per head.
