Dremel works perfect watch out for hot flying plastic. Take your time and cut a little then place in the grill, then cut a little and place in the grill until it fits snug. It's scary just take your time and you'll do fine

What kind of billet grille do you have? Why would you have to cut out the middle? Mine sits flush over the stock grille.

i ordered the billet grille insert that does'nt have the toyota emblem cut out that wattapunk has.. the grille runs straight across which needs the center part cut out to have the flush look..

    Wattapunk,

Where did you get your grill and did you paint it yourself and how? Can I find one without the emblem hole. Thanks

eBay, Forgot the company name but thay carry either center cut-out or w/o..Painting was easy..surface sand the shine off (#400 grit), 1 coat adhesion promoter, then 2 coats black acrylic enamel, 1 clear coat. Holding up fine.

I used a hacksaw, was able to run the blade along/against the frame for less work later. I then split the discarded middle section to fill the voids. I don't know if it had to be done, but, I fiberglassed aroung the whole inside of the grille, just to give it more strengh, as the billet was heavier than I thought it would be. He is a quick pic of the finished product.

Nope, just the upper and lower. But it seems the seller offered one with the triangles.
