I walked into the shop the other day to buy some new eye pro for work and they were cutting open the pallet of 9mm to add to the shelf. Walked away with some 9mm and some 00 buck.

Took a 2 week self-imposed pause from buying ammo (trying to do my small part to control the madness). Stopped by Cabela's for some camping fuel canisters and ended up coming home with this.

You could search for 2 weeks around here and not find any of that. I went and got my eyes checked at WalMart Tuesday and they had zero ammo and maybe 5 guns in the case.

I went into walmart this morning to get a box of plastic silverware and walked out with 300 rounds of 12 gauge. First time I've seen it on the shelves in months around here.

Then I made it to work and realized I forgot to buy silverware.

Just got back from a precision match and stuff got added to the list yesterday after seeing some shortfalls in my gear closet. Tl;dr say goodbye tax return. :spending:

Vortex Fury LRF Binos at a nice discount from the sponsor table at the match since I had neither a LRF or binos.

Kuiu Verde bino pouch to match

Leupy Pro Carbon Tripod for bino and shooting position purposes

Was looking for a replacement deadbird rain jacket for my old one and Scheels took my money on a clearance Sitka puffy and shell since they added up to less than the shell I was planning on buying.

While I was at Scheels, some 124gr JHPs were on the shelf and they came home too.

Then signed up for a precision rifle course in Aug

so bought 200 77gr pills from a buddy to feed the beast

Im scared to look at my bank account rn

CR2 Course at Pigg River Precision in VA this August.

met the dude running the course at the Arena match this past weekend, and I could def use some schoolhouse instruction on wind mostly.

Well hell, I'm glad I asked! I looked it up and it looks like semi/gas gun specific course. I love shooting a bolt gun, but just as fun is signing up for gas class at our KYL and other PRS matches. I'm shooting a 224V, and it's fun to run a light weight, zero recoil gun.

From what prior attendees tell me, it could be either, but a gas gun is prob a better choice. Plus 200 rounds of 6.5CM is mucho more expensive that 5.56.

Plus my pelican gas for the gas gun is much lighter, and smaller, which is a big deal when flying across the country.
