There's only two wheelbase lengths for Tacomas, it's extremely simple compared to domestic full size trucks.

Interesting. I figured there would be 3 wheelbases (dc/sb, dc/lb, ac/lb), but the ac/lb and dc/sb have the exact same wheelbase of 127.4. Interesting. Makes sense from a production standpoint though.

Run unless that 10 grand includes life time BJ's. It would be worth a drive up to ND or minnesota.

They took MSRP-toyota cash and trade of my 2019 SR that they gave me 29875 for. So 37348-1000-29875= 6473 but the trade needed 4 TPMS sensors, I had left my summer used 2015 Tacoma rims on with rubber valve stems and kept my stealies that came with the 19 with the sensors. They had old truck on lot for 32700. Wonder what they got?

Placed a deposit on a Tacoma last night!

'21 TRD OR DCSB auto in Army Green
Premium, Tech package, LED headlights, door sill and floor liners

    MSRP: $44,903
Dealer discount: $2,500 not including Toyota incentives (currently $500 in Minnesota but hoping that goes up!)

Tentative purchase price $41,903. I'll give the full breakdown when I take delivery. Location is Minneapolis/St. Paul Area, Minnesota.

Dealer is hoping to get a trade on an allocation, but we'll see, otherwise it's a factory order when they submit for allocations. I got a true car price from a dealer 90 miles away for $2800 off not including Toyota incentive so I felt this was fair given the dealer I ordered through is only 15 minutes away. The only sketchy/annoying thing is that they made me put down a $1,000 non-refundable deposit because the sales manager was nervous about the deal. Very pointless IMO given the demand, but it just forced me to commit now vs. later.

    Hello, new here from Canada.
Looking to buy a TRD OR in the summer of 2021.
Looking to put 40k down. What should I expect or try to haggle for?
I've never bought a new vehicle.

Sounds like a Trust fund baby special!! I'd make the trip to that dealership just so I can laugh in the sales guys face for a good 10min, then I'd pause for a minute and laugh again for another 10!

Sales guys don't set the prices ;)

Trust fund babies dont drive SR models (I can attest to that as an SR owner and seeing the demographics of us who buy SR trucks) ;)

They buy Raptors locally and TRX for 25K$+ MSRP

True but sales guys sale you the car so...

Again, true that usually trust fund babies don't buy low end models. I was referring more to the inflated TFB pricing. But then again, on the flip side of that coin you have the TFB's that don't know any better and buy anything they want on impulse, always locally and always above MSRP!. :spending:

The quote includes that. Unfortunately they are from the sales manager named Biff.

So I'd like to hear some opinions on how I did. Bought a 2021 TRD OR DCSB, 4x4, leather, sunroof, dual zone climate, etc, with under 5k miles for $36.5k. I thought it was a great deal so jumped on it. I also sold my 2017 TRD OR DCSB with none of the fancy stuff and 37k miles for $30K. I thought the upgrade (4 years newer, 30k less miles, more stuff) was well worth $6500.

I bought my 21 Limited, 6ft bed, AG last week. It came with led bed lighting, mud flaps, all weather mats, the hard tri-fold toneau cover, and the cast aluminum running boards. I also added window visors, trailer ball, bed mat and the TRD Pro grille. Added the platinum extended warranty which is 10 year/ 125k bumper to bumper, zero deductible and 5 years on paint, interior and tires warranty. Paid 45k even out the door.

In the range of probably over 15% off original MSRP. Definitely. 5k miles ain’t shit.

Nice! I just completed a purchase for a TRD OR here in the Baltimore area, but have been also talking with a salesperson from Jerry's throughout the process. Both dealerships agreed to give me the price I wanted, but my dealer happened to be able to get their in-transit Tacoma to their lot faster than Jerry's.

I'm kind of surprised they asked you to put a deposit down on a truck that potentially hasn't been built yet (much less a non-refundable one!). Is that normal?
