There are plenty of unsuspecting vehicles to the side he could winch off of.

Looking to hit something down south (springs or deckers) this Saturday. 3” lifted Tacoma on 33s with rear locker And 2” lifted tundra on 33s. Might have a built gx and stock 3rd Gen 4Runner too. Have CO2 tank so can air down. Also have maxtrax. Any recommendations from someone who’s done something in the last few days? Rainbow falls maybe?

Depends on when I can leave the house. Rainbow falls area or the gulches though. Gulches might be too covered in snow.

With a dry summer predicted again, I went ahead and ordered this for camp season. Solid price at $100 for high temp powder coat and large size. From what Jeffco county says, these are allowed during stage 1 fire bans. I will have to research other counties that we hit up. Mine just came in but now has a shipping date of April 2nd. Have a $30 stainless steel grill that fits inside.

I'm going to be THAT GUY.

What's your plan for the remaining ash and bits left after burning a fire?

I've carted off multiple trash bags of ash and trash throw into fire pits at multiple established dispersed campsites. Those that I haven't, the users have just piled and spread ash underneath the nearest tree within 5 feet away.

Personally, I have a propane fire pit to avoid lugging around hot metal pieces and the waste left from a wood fire.

Usually camp at established dispersed sites with fire pits which get good use. We stay up late so usually very little at the end or just don’t over load it at the end of the night. Obviously no trash. After dousing with water nothing really to pick up or in this case put into the fire pit. We also reuse anything left in the pit and burn ourselves. Clean up after previous campers if needed but where we go people are pretty respectful. I numb my hands in the river before picking up the hot metal and loading it up. Just a little old fashion with my camp fires. Rather have something collapsible and not tethered to a tank. I feel like reducing ground clutter is a good thing too. Buddy just got one of those propane setups. He plugs it into his trailer camper. We go a bit further than his trailer allows otherwise that’s a sweet setup too. @JasonLee
