It depends if your priority is aesthetics vs lighting performance.

Here is a write up from Tacomaworld's resident lighting guru (i.e. the guy worth listening to).

Essentially, if performance is more important, then you'll want to consider the OEM LEDs. Headlights are simply one area where you gotta pay to play, but even pricier options don't necessarily cut the mustard all the time (Morimotos, for example).

Yes it's worth it. I had mine for about 4 months now and they are awesome especially with the color we have.

I want that damn hood bug/rock deflector/protector... I think they give it such an aggressive look...

    Yeah or Nah...

I was gonna plastidip my gas tank lid/cover/door .... just gonna tape it off and hit it with several coats...

    What say you?
I mean, of course it's up to me and "my choice" yada yada.... yall think it would look stupid?
I am also going to get a custom decal on the rear quarter panel where the TRD logos are as well as black fender flares (in time)
But this would be on little tweak to give it some more black...

One vote for "Nah". Looks like some cheap aftermarket replacement door.

    Traded it in.

I think it would look good, until you added the decal and black flares. At that point it might be to much.

In my quest to accent the QS, I've been kicking around the idea of those Retro Decal, but in fading black/Charcoal... somthin' like those below

This has crossed my mind also. I would use the red orange yellow as they look good with Quicksand too. just not sure I want something that screams though.

Ive had those 3 stripe tan ones in a shopping cart for like 4 months... cant pull the trigger just yet... I think because one of the color options only comes in glossy and the other two are matte.... although it may make it pop a little more... idk...

That's why I'm really digging the black/grey/sand colors. It's enough to contrast the body color, but subtle enough not to be "Look at me" loud.

Are the ones in your cart the kind that runs along the side the rear of the truck?

No the front fender 3 stripe look.... I like that pattern, I may just go for it ... But I have a matte black hood glare decal coming so I need to get that on first...then see if I want the tan colors, or just go with black.
Here is what I am ordering for the rear quarter panel decal

Its a local shop here in Boise. I sent them the .eps file and said he could do both of them for $200, installation included, 3m vinyl, 2 color.
I dont know if they ship, but might be worth a shot if you're interested. Dynamite Signs Boise.
