Do you have a test light?
Sometimes those scotch locks don’t pierce the wires insulation.

We don't need no stinkin long bed!
NGL, tried a few ways over the wheel well but they felt like the sheets would crack on some of the roads based on how we supported them. This ended up working well, no cracks at all

So it’s not working with the ground I did.
I will splice it to the ground and see what happens.

Assateague became a family tradition as soon as I got my Tacoma 3 and a half years ago. I used to go without letting air out but got stuck the last few time so now I do. Just got new wheels and tires but I think I’ll still let the air out...

I had one in my 2008 Tacoma and that is one of the things I need to be switched out from the old to new 2020 model. Dealer switched the mat to the new bed and moved my toolbox for me as well to the new bed. So this mat is every bit of 15 years old now and looks and works just fine.

Where did you get yours and the mount? I've been eyeing some (even the cheapies from Amazon). Most seem to go for roughly ~$300-400?

I used my truck as a truck today. Picked up a yard of dirt to fill my raised garden beds.
I was definitely riding on the bump stops all the way home.

I also got my soft topper on the way. I'll make a second post on why I chose it over a hardtop when I get it installed
