In my driveway since I just finished fixing it up. Tinted to 5%, windoors on all three sides, bolted on ladder/roof rack, quick disconnect for the third brake light. Nothing inside yet...IMG_3236.jpg IMG_3237.jpg

I did some 5% mirror tint behind the factory tint. You can’t tell it’s mirror and you can’t see inside during daylight. Even at night you have to put a bright flashlight flush on the window to see in and it’s still hard to see.

yes, had 225K miles on it and I did not get the frame replaced by the deadline so I wanted to sell it while the frame was still good and worth some money. Really liked the 5sp manual.

I haven't driven an auto for over 20 years (both sports car, motos and truck all shift with a manually actuated clutch). Wish I could have purchased the AC TRD OR in a manual.

I know someone who purchased a 2020 model year Tacoma and he had to “special order” to get a standard and waited 6 months for it! They have been phasing out standard trannys do to lack of demand.

Toyo doesn't make the manual in the USA for the AC TRD Off-Road but it is available in the AC TRD Sport. Wanted the rear locker, thus the AC TRD Off-Road with the auto. Heard you can get them (TRD off-road) in Canada with a manual.

This makes no sense to me....what is Toyota doing? The person I spoke of above got a double cab TRD off road. Dealer kept telling him stories for the delay. He wanted a certain color with manual tranny.

As far as I am concerned I would have purchased another standard cab, v6, manual with the TRD off-road package if they made it, for my purposes.

5100s and OME 885 coils front, 5100s and AAL for the TSB leaf pack (overload left in) rear. Jeraco camper shell.
I'm not a wiring expert, but it doesn't sound like the ground is your issue. You may have a bad bulb, or backwards wiring. I'd wire everything to the brake light to make sure it works, then you can move your ground wherever you want.

picked up a 6mo old ARE MX cap locally, needed something covered for work equipment, riding gear and trips with the doggos. never really saw myself getting a cap like this tbh, but it's definitely growing on me! Not 100% sure if I want to color match it yet, I might leave it for a few months to decide.

Any one have an issue where the front sliding window rattles open on a Leer shell? Mine keeps sliding open on rough roads. I've tried adjusting that whole front window assembly, but no luck so far. May try and wedge something in to keep it closed.

I don't have that problem but I suggest that you take it to the dealer and have them fix it

I've used a small wooden shim like a smaller version of a door stop on a older shell. My Leer has one metal clip that holds it closed. Maybe your clip is 20210329_151233.jpg out of 'springs'.
Bad picture but this is of the window opened halfway through metal clip. Nice and rusted unfortunately. 1.5 years old
