Hey! I'm an old guy. this stuff is hard...

I bought an ACLB Sport with Technology package this past January. I didn't want the tech package, but that was all that was available.

Any way, with fewer than 340 miles on the clock, the "radio" keeps popping up a warning message every minute or so.

"Application Download error, TRY AGAIN LATER"
With a bingo box that reads "OK".

touching the bingo box clears the warning, but it comes right back. Same with all screen options.

I did enter my Android phone by both cable and blueTooth , and the phone lists appear to make calls etc. (I have not actually made a call, Can't imagine why I would want to, I mean, I have a phone for that. why would I need a truck to make a call? )

I can see the value in displaying something like Gia from the phone on to the display, but I'm happy without.

I just want the damn warning pop up to go away.

Anyone care to shed light for me?

    TIA

    VTCAL

Do you have the Toyota app installed on your phone?

This happened to me as well, unhooking the battery for a little while fixed it

I had the same thing. For me un-installing the Entune App from my phone took care of it.

I can’t remember specifically what I did to cause this to keep popping up. Everything was going perfectly fine and then I messed around with something (no surprise there) and then this annoying message wouldn’t stop. I remember searching around for a fix and didn’t really find anything so I just unhooked the battery for like 30 minutes and it’s never popped up since.

I don't have the entune app on my phone. I thought I read the enTune thing was history (already) Am I wrong there?

I'll try that this week end. Though it would be nice to know just What is the cause of the error message, and how to logically defeat it.

Hmm, you may want to remove (delete) the Bluetooth connection on your phone then. When I had the problem I removed the enTune App, deleted the Bluetooth, then re-enabled it. It's been fine ever since. The error message is annoying; mine popped-up on an hour drive. Fifteen minutes in I had to stop and delete my phone from the system just to make it go away.

Well, just removing the phone as a blue tooth device from the system doesn't "fix" the notification.

    I'll keep trying... \
