Watch out, some here are a bit sentimental, or get really strong feelings for others.
I really like it though. I love attention any way I can. Also a bit dirty!!!!

Weekend warrior. Living in SF just means several hours of driving to get anywhere and I don't want to me at a super high rpm the whole time in order to do 85.

I'm officially out of the Toyota game. I traded in my truck for a Jeep JL. I needed something I can flat tow behind my RV. When we moved to Texas my wife and I bought an RV instead of a house. Now I am considered a fulltime RV'er. The truck either with a dolly or trying to get drive shaft disconnects and what not would have been a hassle in my mind.

If any of you make it to the Dallas area look me up. I'll buy ya a beer and take you to the best BBQ (my opinion) in the state.

Congrats! How is the RV life full time? I’ve been wanting to do that for awhile, but it’s always cool to hear real-world perspectives from folks doing it.

Hardest thing to do is down sizing. You will need to somehow get rid of 90-95% of what you own. You can get a storage unit to help with family heirlooms and sentimental stuff you just can let go. We have a small one. I did a lot of research and talk to my parents (they also fulltime) you will need at least 40' RV. Ours is currently 43'. We started with a 31'. We quickly ran out of storage. Small closets, fewer cabinets smaller "basement storage". Start with looking at floor plans. Do you want a big shower, more closet space, more counter top space, queen or king bed, bunks if you have kids or grand children.

A lot to think about. PM me if you have any questions. I check the forum almost daily.

Not my first rodeo. 3rd Jeep owned. Last one was a 2005 TJ Rubicon on 35's
