All the parts that can be seen are plenty solid still weird enough. The bad rust is in the back 6" of the boxed sections. The c channel bit will clean up great and everything forward of the rear body mount is 100% fine. So I've got about 18" of stuff that needs real cleanup.

so my Amazon package shipped from Aurora CO. Estimated delivery date is Monday. I'm betting it's taking a few detours through adjoining states

Worst parts of mine were in the boxed in sections at the back of the frame. They just hold mud. The shock mounts too, but it sounds like you're cutting those off anyway.

Centennial in a neighborhood that used to be SE Aurora. 15 minutes from a great outdoor mall, 30 minutes from the airport, any big box store you can think of within 15 minutes

I cut them out and welded in new pieces, but I'd start by just stuffing a hose in there and washing it clean. I didn't see much in the way of drain holes so it needs some decent flow to flush it all out.

Yeah thats a good idea. The should have designed more in. I left a few that I can stick a nozzle in.

Although with the removable bed on the flatbed, cleanup is gonna be a whole lot easier now.

I bet they all appreciate that, you've been working hard for them. I didn't realize it had been so long, are you getting discouraged? FWIW my sister graduated last year with intentions of becoming a PA and is in the same boat.

It was bittersweet, I really liked the area and small town in an outdoorsy area means youre 15-30 minutes away from all the hiking/camping/fishing/rafting/crawling you could need... for reference I usually am driving 2+hr each way when I take the crawler out from where I'm at now.

I've been unhappy with where I live for a long time and it's taken a long time to admit that to myself. To be honest I think the reason I drown myself in projects is so that I don't have to admit that I don't like where I'm at and don't have to invest time thinking about it .

Its a lifelong struggle it seems to find a balance between work, a place you want to live, and people you want to live around. So far my best is 2 out of 3, but often 1 out of 3. Pain in the butt.

I feel ya on the drowning self in projects part, its the same thing here. I gave up on non-social video games, don't really watch tv, and as soon as I'm done with work, I bury my head in a project of some sort. Keeps me from wandering into depression territory.

All that said - how do you feel about the small town life? Sounds like its a pretty place to be, but what about the people? Any women you'd want to date?
