Not sure CA or AZ. The Mrs wants AZ I want Cali. We're going to wing it for a few months...

About 2,500 miles, my truck has only done 6K in the last 16 months since new. Lol it'll probably end up doing more mileage on a boat/train than the road!!

How many days is it expected to take? Are you moving at the same time? I assume all your stuff has to be shipped as well? (Logistically that has to be a much trickier move than most).

Tell me about it, I'm English. Have up'd and moved too many times, at least this move is going in the right direction to get me a little closer to Blighty...

    Cars about 2 weeks
Stuff 3 weeks to 2 months depending on who u ship with

I may end up selling my truck, there's zero stock at the dealer and I may be able to get most of my money back. A Maui dealer has a 2016 OR with 14K miles for $45k.

I have to imagine you could do that, and then buy a new one in the mainland and have change in your pocket. Admittedly the DCLB is not simple to find, but not impossible either.

Why is it that we always want something that we can't have...a new Hilux with a manual and a diesel with a payload up to 2,000 lbs

Search the forum for slider security bar. When I had my G2, the fellow would cut bar stock and coat it. I had one custom cut so my slider would stay open 1/2 inch. That window was manually operated, so I didn't worry about forgetting the bar and cracking a window.

I know they are extremely capable vehicles, but they look like a 4th gen Honda Ridgeline to me. I much much prefer the style of the 3rd gen Tacoma to the Hilux.

Diesel and a manual though, that is the dream right there.

For offroading over steeply pitching roads I really dislike the basically flat hood design of the Taco. I'm 6'5" and strain to see over the hood for stuff in front of the truck. I like the sleek look of the Hilux, but i realize it's mostly just styling

Man those front ends look awful on the Hilux. That “brush guard” looks like it belongs on a power wheels car for kids. Not saying it’s a bad truck, but it’s definitely not a looker.

Maybe just stick one of the bulkier command strip products to the glass to act as a bump stop of sorts? Possibly find something that's dual purpose.

    Poo bag holder :notsure:

Be happy you don't have a sport hood, the scoop adds at least 3" of height to to the hood. I am soooo much happier after trading my Sport hood for on Off Road hood.

Installed RCI armor today! Sitting in the garage for 3 mo waiting for my new rear suspension upgrade. Done and done... although my A arm armor didn’t fit. I need to mod the stock Pro skid plate. Other than that... pretty damn happy.

Yes you do Brother! I was running the OME Dakar and was underwhelmed. If and when you do get them please post it up on your site! People will appreciate your how to video.
