I know this isn't the sales forum, but if any Drifter (or other camper platforms that retain a tailgate) are looking for some tailgate pulls. I got two I will never use. Willing to ship on your dime. I did have them installed for a year but they never got pulled.

A thunder bucket and bags is not that big of a deal to me. You should have a bucket to drown the campfire anyway. Seeing ground flowers everywhere is just gross.

Just like campfire time with the homies, there’s always a point in the conversation where we talk about poop.

You might think thats funny but I bet you’ll notice it next time it happens... because it will happen :D

    Such a polarizing topic, hahaha.
I carry one of the fold-up seats and some gelling bags, but if going outside is an option, I do - just with the seat over a hole.
Maybe just me, but the view is always better from a throne. :D

I agree! My son has actually snapped a pic of the view from many of his "poop spots"

I used to be on team shovel and squat, but we recently picked up a seat and it's really much more relaxing! Also, as I mentioned earlier, there are areas of the desert SW that you aren't supposed to dig a cat-hole at all (around Moab for one).

I put a large custom order in with Tnutz with all the pieces pre-cut at their shop in November of last year and they sent me a tracking number 4 days after my order was placed, and I received it via UPS 6 days after that. So, 10 days total. I have done a smaller order with them since then and it was relatively quick. My experience with them was great with no hassles. I was impressed with the custom-cut pieces. I don't recall the total pieces (a lot, many with different profile combos), I was amazed they only had one single, minor error. Their aluminum profiles are really nice quality, too.

I recently placed a small order (parts) with 80-20 and after 6 or 7 days with no word I sent them an email asking about status. They politely reminded me of their policy with a link to their shipping page and said my type of order typically has a lead time of 10-12 days (wow, just to pull some small parts?) They did send me a tracking number that day, so about a week after my order was placed.

FYI, I tried doing a couple orders with Parco and that didn't go well. I don't recommend.

Yeah, I love my mobile loo.... digging and squatting was always one of my least favorite aspects about camping.

Now I have my fortress of solitude, a fridge full of brews within reach, ceiling fan running (+1 for getting the fan option) and some tunes blasting to disguise the noises

    :anonymous:

No trekking around hunting for a spot, digging, sweating (or freezing), privacy issues, mosquitos, flies or any other inconvenience to bother with.

I can strip down completely, have a comfy and level throne to park myself on, take my time then and when done have a full Shower Pouch bath to clean up, a little deodorant to make me and the camper smell better.

    Best camping BM's ever

Granted, going that far is not for everyone but even just the nighttime pee aspect is just as awesome. You don't have to unlock and open the door, tailgate, climb out, put on shoes (and warm clothing on icy trips), stumble around in the dark etc. I set the bucket up before bed and leave it by the tailgate. Drink too much and gotta pee at 4am? Crawl out of bed, pee in bucket, crawl back into bed and and zzzzz. Barely have to open your eyes. Doubly appreciated by the lady friends too

Damn, that post grew on me... TL:DR - bucket in camper rocks!

I get the last part. I stay away from Moab and similar overcrowded environs. The overcrowding has been coming to me lately though...

Amazon....I believe. Brand was Seattle Sports. Their intended purpose was actually for strapping a kayak to a car I think.

2 inches is too many inches.
