As stated, lithium grease is too thin and washes out too easily. If you're going into the water like your avatar pic, you'd be better served using a grease designed for marine applications. I use this stuff, had great results with it on poly suspension bushings.

It's tacky as hell too. Wear gloves, it's like playing with molasses. lol

That’s the exact same noise my drivers side is doing right now. At first i thought something was lose but as it got worse I pin pointed it to the bushing as every time I’d get in and out it would make that creaking dry sounding noise.
I can feel it in the steering wheel sometimes and floor.

To everyone, if I let it run it’s course, can this cause a catastrophic failure or would this just result in needing to buy a new joint assembly?

I just installed mine 600 miles ago and getting a squeak every once in a while, it is wasn't for the alignment help I would switch to a camburg asap but I paid for these and the UCA bolt was a pain in the ass to remove so I guess the only option is to live with it

I contacted SPC about it and they sent me new control arms and it turns out the bushings went bad. Mine were creaking and squeaking a ton. Got mine replaced under warranty.

This is the 3rd time my squeak has come back and it is fixed by re greasing my UCA bushings. The last "re grease" was in January when I replaced my LR UCA bushings with the upgraded poly bushings I bought from Wheelers. I used an approved grease on the list SPC published and I SLATHERED the UCA bushings in it. Today I go over a speed bump and the squeak is back. Very frustrating

I am not taking out that dam UCA bolt to re grease again.

Why not add a zerk fitting at each UCA bushing? Like the JBA arms come with. That way you can grease 'em at will, and won't have to be plagued by the squeaks from your UCAs as the grease gets worked/washed out.

Also, I'll reiterate to use a better grease, like the green marine-grade stuff I linked to above.

    None so far
Is there instructions on how to disassemble the bushings to grease?
